I work with BetsyJo, the mom of the Kellum clan, and when I mentioned my mini sessions I arranged this fall, she was gracious enough to reserve a spot for her family photography with me! It’s an extra treat to create photos for someone you know (although meeting new families is a ton of fun too).
We met at Ken-O-Sha Park, convenient for both of us in southeast Grand Rapids, and it was just a perfect day for family photos there. There’s a ton of paved trails that are great for biking or walking, and there’s a whole playground made primarily from trees reclaimed from having fallen over the trails in GR! There’s trunks cut at different heights to climb on, and an elevated platform that you can only get to by climbing the rope course.
